The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) provides wholesale water and sewer services to Boston and sixty other communities, and rehabilitates and reconstructs area water supply and sewage treatment facilitites to preserve public health and protect natural resources. Manual was created by agency records manager (Records Management Dept., Administrative Support Division) to document services provided to the MWRA by records management staff and standards and procedures for management of MWRA records by the department records officer of each agency unit; also standards and procedures for MWRA databases including: Hard copy plans database ((M-Ar)1850).
